Cobblestone Driveway Completed in Ashby-De-La-Zouche

This project in Ashby-De-La-Zouch was to create a complete makeover for a driveway for this homeowner but to maintain the charm of the traditional feel. The customer had moved in to the period property and as the home itself was in good condition, the driveway was an old broken concrete mess.

After calling FM Paving, we worked with the customer on the best driveway solutions that would work best for the customer in regards to budget and style and we decided to work with cobblestone.

If you look closely at the detail you can see how some of the cobbles are slightly lighter and some darker, this is due to the ageing process of the stone and when laid right you can really get a lovely rustic feel to the paving.

The job turnaround was only 3 days and there was no contact with the customer whatsoever, we never need access to the property and our staff always maintain social distancing throughout the driveway build process.
